Job Title: Production Supervisor

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Production Supervisor to join our team at ALUGARD LTD. As a Production Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the production process, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively, and maintaining a safe and healthy work environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Estimate costs and materials for production projects
  • Prepare production and other reports to track progress and identify areas for improvement
  • Train or arrange for training of production staff to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their jobs
  • Co-ordinate and schedule activities to ensure that production deadlines are met
  • Ensure health and safety regulations are followed and maintain a safe and healthy work environment
  • Oversee the operation of the production department and make recommendations for improvements
  • Requisition or order materials, equipment and supplies as needed
  • Supervise production staff and provide guidance and support as needed
Requirements:
  • 1-2 years of experience in a production or manufacturing environment
  • College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 3 months to less than 1 year
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations and procedures
