About the Role
This Business Architecture Lead will be responsible for guiding the company's architecture strategy and ensuring alignment with the Gore Guidewire implementation and surrounding ecosystem. The role requires a deep understanding of P&C Insurance in Canada, across Commercial and Personal Lines, as well as the Guidewire InsuranceSuite and Guidewire Cloud roadmap.
The successful candidate will work closely with senior business leaders, developers, and technology leaders to translate strategic project requirements into well-formed project scope and deliverables. This involves understanding the company's business processes and identifying areas for improvement and innovation within the ecosystem.
Key Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, or related field.
- 6+ years of experience in Architecture, Technology Engineering, Software Development, or Business Analysis.
- 3+ years of experience as a Business Architect.
- Deep understanding of P&C Insurance in Canada, across Commercial and Personal Lines.
- Deep understanding of the Guidewire InsuranceSuite and Guidewire Cloud roadmap.
- Background in Business Analysis for Guidewire.
- Guidewire technical certification is an advantage.
- In-depth understanding of at least two of the following competencies: microservices governance, DevOps, Agile architecture, data analytics, and TOGAF.
- Excellent analytical and communication skills.
