Job Summary

Park Place Montessori Daycare is seeking a dedicated and passionate Early Childhood Educator to lead our childcare programs. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing child-care programs that support and promote the physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development of children.

Key Responsibilities
  • Program Development: Create and implement engaging child-care programs that cater to the diverse needs of our children.
  • Leadership: Supervise and coordinate the activities of other early childhood educators and assistants, ensuring a smooth and efficient operation of our programs.
  • Child Development: Observe children for signs of potential learning or behavioral problems and prepare reports for parents, guardians, or supervisors.
  • Team Collaboration: Attend staff meetings to discuss progress and problems of children, ensuring open communication and collaboration among team members.
Requirements
  • Education: College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1-2 years.
  • Experience: Experience is an asset, but not required.
