We are seeking an experienced Aircraft Metalworker to lead our team in delivering high-quality repair and maintenance services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and train junior technicians in various metalworking operations, including hand tool setup and operation.
- Coordinate daily production schedules to ensure efficient workflow and meet deadlines.
- Inspect and verify dimensions of products for accuracy and conformance to specifications.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to optimize processes and enhance productivity.
- Develop and implement quality control procedures to maintain exceptional standards.
Skill Requirements:
- Proven experience as a metalworker or bench operator with expertise in precision measuring instruments.
- Familiarity with blueprints, templates, and layouts for product specifications.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds (unassisted) for approximately 25% of the average work day.
- Strong communication and leadership skills to effectively manage and motivate team members.
