Job Summary

The Royal Bank of Canada is seeking a highly skilled Senior Quantitative Analyst to join its Risk Management team. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing advanced quantitative models to manage credit risk across the bank's wholesale and commercial clients in Canadian Banking.

You will work closely with senior management and regulators to ensure that our risk management practices are aligned with industry standards and regulatory requirements. Your expertise in quantitative modeling, data analysis, and risk management will be essential in driving business growth and ensuring the bank's financial stability.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement advanced quantitative models to manage credit risk
  • Collaborate with senior management and regulators to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements
  • Provide analytical support to business stakeholders on risk management and credit risk-related matters
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and regulatory changes to ensure the bank's risk management practices remain effective

Requirements:
  • Strong background in quantitative modeling, data analysis, and risk management
  • Advanced degree in a quantitative field (e.g., mathematics, statistics, engineering, computer science)
  • 3+ years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the financial industry
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks
