The United States Army is seeking highly motivated individuals to join their team as Animal Care Specialists. As a member of the Army's Veterinary Corps, you will play a critical role in providing medical care and treatment to government-owned animals, including K-9 units, ceremonial horses, and the pets of Soldiers and their families.

You will be responsible for preventing and controlling the spread of diseases from animals to humans, conducting routine exams, administering medications, and performing surgical and emergency procedures. Your goal will be to ensure the best possible treatment for these animals, allowing them to provide vital services to the Army.

No prior experience is necessary, making this an excellent opportunity for those looking to start a new career. The position is entry-level, and all necessary training will be provided.

To be eligible, you must meet the following requirements:

  • Be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident with a valid Green Card.
  • Be between 17 and 34 years old.
  • Hold a High School Diploma or GED.
  • Meet the Army's tattoo guidelines.
  • Have no major law violations or medical concerns.
