About the Job

We are seeking a Facilities Maintenance Supervisor to join our team at eBrandon. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations, planning and supervising work schedules for the department.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operations Oversight: Oversee utilities-related work contracted to third parties, ensuring adherence to safety standards, RM policies, and job requirements.
  • Reporting and Communication: Complete monthly and periodic reporting to Provincial authorities, Council, and CAO. Respond to ratepayers' inquiries promptly and professionally.
  • Inspections and Maintenance: Plan and manage routine inspections, cleaning, calibration, and preventative maintenance on equipment and systems.
  • Utilities Management: Oversee sewer flushing, hydrant maintenance, utility winterization, water connections and disconnections, manhole markings, and timely meter readings.
Qualifications and Certifications
  • Education: High School diploma, GED, or equivalent.
  • Certifications: Possession or ability to attain the following certifications within a reasonable timeline.
  • Post-Secondary Education: Post-Secondary education in mechanical, engineering, applied science, or related field is considered an asset.
  • Driver's License: Valid Class 5 driver's license.
  • Criminal Record Check: Satisfactory Criminal Record Check.
Working Conditions

This is a full-time position with a competitive wage dependent on experience. Full benefits package available after eligibility. Schedule: Monday to Friday, 80 hours bi-weekly, on-call as required.
