Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Construction Helper to join our team at PH Design + Build. As a key member of our construction crew, you will assist in various tasks related to construction, demolition, and maintenance.

Responsibilities
  • Load, unload, and transport construction materials to and from job sites.
  • Mix, pour, and spread materials such as concrete and asphalt as required.
  • Assist in aligning pipes during pipeline construction and drilling and blasting rock on construction sites.
  • Participate in demolishing buildings and cleaning up debris.
  • Perform routine maintenance work and clean up chemical spills and other contaminants.
  • Remove rubble and other debris at construction sites and direct traffic at or near construction sites.
Requirements
  • Experience in construction or a related field is an asset.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Physical stamina to perform manual labor tasks.
Working Conditions

This is a permanent position with a 40-hour workweek. The language of work is English.
