About the JobThis is a seasonal position, working 35-40 hours per week, with opportunities for overtime. As a Restaurant Server Assistant, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean and safe work environment, ensuring high-quality food preparation, and providing excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Food Preparation: Prepare, heat, and finish simple food items, such as burgers, fries, and ice cream treats.
- Cleaning and Sanitation: Clean and sanitize dishes, utensils, equipment, and work surfaces, adhering to health and safety standards.
- Customer Service: Serve customers at counters or buffet tables, taking orders and handling payments in a friendly and efficient manner.
- Inventory Management: Receive, unpack, and store supplies, including food, beverages, and cleaning products.
- Teamwork: Collaborate with colleagues to maintain a smooth and efficient operation, adapting to changing situations as needed.
To succeed in this role, you should have strong communication skills, be able to multitask, and work well under pressure. Previous experience in food service or a related field is an asset, but not required. We offer competitive compensation, including a salary of $12.00-$14.00 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications.
