Job Title: Drywall Installer

Cobras Insulation Ltd. is seeking a skilled Drywall Installer to join our team. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for installing drywall sheets, taping joints, and applying successive coats of compound to create smooth surfaces.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Measure, cut, and install drywall sheets to create walls and ceilings
  • Tape over joints using a taping machine and embed tape in compound
  • Apply successive coats of compound and sand seams and joints to create a smooth surface
  • Cut and install metal corner beads to protect exterior corners
  • Fabricate and install suspended metal ceiling grids and place in panels to form acoustical and coffered ceilings
  • Fill joints, nail indentations, holes, and cracks with joint compound using a trowel and broad knife
  • Estimate costs and materials for drywall installation projects
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in drywall installation
  • Dependability, flexibility, reliability, and a team player attitude
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
  • Physical stamina to lift and move heavy drywall sheets and equipment
Work Environment:
  • Commercial and residential construction sites
  • Various locations, including urban and rural areas
Working Hours:

35 to 40 hours per week, with occasional overtime as required
