We are seeking a skilled Cook to join our team at LAHORI KARAHI TASTE INC. in a permanent position.
Job Summary:The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and cooking complete meals or individual dishes and foods, as well as maintaining inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment.
Key Responsibilities:- Plan menus and estimate food requirements for their realization
- Requisition food and kitchen supplies
- Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods
- Prepare dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances
- Inspect kitchens and food service areas
- Train staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food
- Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment
- Clean kitchen and work areas
- Manage kitchen operations
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
- 1 to less than 7 months of experience in the field
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and physically demanding position
- Attention to detail and ability to work under pressure
