Job Title: Data Quality Lead

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Quality Lead to join our team in the Digital Systems & Solutions Delivery Branch (DSSD) of the Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP). As a Data Quality Lead, you will be responsible for leading and coordinating diverse IM/IT teams to develop and implement innovative solutions to support the RCMP's digital evidence processing needs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and coordinate diverse IM/IT teams to develop and implement innovative solutions
  • Interpret and analyze business or technical requirements in environments with ambiguity or incomplete information
  • Architect, develop, or maintain IT applications, demonstrating expertise in one or more of the following areas: front-end development, back-end development, database management, and API development
  • Implement and optimize Agile software development methodologies, such as Scrum or Kanban
  • Leverage Agile work management tools, such as Azure DevOps or Jira
Requirements:
  • Graduation from a two-year program of study from a recognized post-secondary institution with acceptable specialization in computer science, information technology, information management, or another relevant specialty
  • Significant experience to lead and coordinate diverse IM/IT teams
  • Experience to work collaboratively with multi-disciplinary teams to develop or implement innovative IM/IT solutions
  • Ability to communicate effectively in writing
