About the Position

We are seeking a highly detail-oriented and organized Merchandising Specialist to join our team at Brand Momentum. As a key member of our sales and marketing team, you will be responsible for executing in-store conditions and maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Execute brilliant in-store conditions by completing the core fundamentals of this role, including cleaning the bulk section, accurately ordering product, and maintaining a sufficient level of backroom stock.
  • Full service requirements for filling bulk sections, gondolas, and other areas of the store, as well as maintaining flowers and potted plants.
  • Seasonal management of team to complete audits of Intuit Turbo Tax across multiple retail banners.
  • Build relationships with in-store staff to mutually succeed and drive sales, including increasing store-level support, accepting order shipments, and ordering tools and supplies.
  • Support Team Leaders by providing store-level insights and driving additional support needs.
  • Provide support to Independent Contractors or surrounding stores in your agreed-upon coverage area, including vacancy coverage, job shadowing, onboarding, and coaching support.
Core Competencies:
  • Hard Skills:
    • Some sales experience, including consumer-packaged goods with exposure to major customers.
    • Computer literacy, including familiarity with Outlook and Word.
    • Valid driver's license.
  • Soft Skills:
    • Solid interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills.
    • High level of attention to detail and accuracy.
    • Thrives in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment with the ability to multi-task and realign objectives on the move.
Requirements:
  • 2-3 years of sales experience with merchandising and/or consumer packaged goods.
  • Ability to understand and communicate sales reports and business acumen.
  • Positive and outgoing personality, outstanding communication skills, and high level of attention to detail.
  • Strong computer literacy skills and ability to use email with proper connotations.
  • Reliable vehicle and smartphone necessary for executing this role.
