Best Office Inc. is a dynamic wholesale establishment seeking an experienced Merchandise Procurement Specialist to join our team.

Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented individual to oversee the procurement of merchandise, manage supplier relationships, and ensure timely distribution to our outlets.

Responsibilities

  • Study market trends, sales promotion materials, and trade periodicals to identify opportunities and challenges.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, negotiating prices, discounts, credit terms, and transportation arrangements.
  • Monitor stock levels, review requirements of the establishment, and determine quantity and type of merchandise to purchase.
  • Select and purchase merchandise for resale, ensuring quality and value for our customers.
  • Supervise the work of other buyers, providing guidance and support as needed.
  • Visit trade shows, showrooms, factories, and product design events to stay up-to-date on industry developments.

Requirements

  • 1-2 years of experience in buying or merchandising, preferably in a wholesale setting.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Word.
  • Degree in Business, Marketing, or related field.
