Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Logistics Coordinator to join our team at Harbour Link Container Services Inc. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating the movement of supplies and materials between departments, performing routine clerical duties, and preparing and submitting reports.

Key Responsibilities
  • Monitor the movement of supplies and materials between departments
  • Perform routine clerical duties, including data entry and record-keeping
  • Prepare and submit reports to management
  • Resolve work problems and provide technical advice to improve productivity and product quality
  • Coordinate activities with warehouse and production units
  • Compile worksheets and specifications of orders
  • Project manage logistics operations
  • Provide customer service and follow up on issues with work orders
  • Keep track of shipments and knowledge of cross-border dispatching regulations and practices
  • Process and transmit information and instructions to coordinate the activities of vehicle operators and crews using dispatching equipment
Requirements
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in logistics or a related field
  • Knowledge of dispatch management service software, monitoring and tracking software, and MS Office
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
