We are seeking a highly skilled Woodcraft Specialist to join our team at Matrix Cabinets LTD.
Job OverviewThe ideal candidate will have 2 years of experience in carpentry and possess strong skills in estimating labour and material costs, reading blueprints, and measuring, cutting, shaping, assembling, and joining materials. They should be physically demanding with the ability to handle heavy loads and work in various weather conditions.
Key Responsibilities- Estimation and Planning: Prepare detailed estimates of labour and material costs for various projects.
- Design and Construction: Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and sketches to determine work requirements. Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel, and other materials.
- Maintenance and Repair: Maintain, repair, and renovate residences and wooden structures in mills, mines, hospitals, industrial plants, and other establishments.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate is required.
- Experience: 2 years of experience in carpentry is preferred.
- Physical Demands: Combination of sitting, standing, walking, handling heavy loads, and working in various weather conditions.
- Competitive Salary: $60,000 per year based on industry standards and location.
