Skilled Tradesperson

We are seeking a skilled tradesperson to join our team at Investivaco as a renovation expert. In this role, you will be responsible for performing various tasks related to carpentry and renovation.

• Work Term: This is a permanent position that requires working 40 hours per week.
• Work Language: Fluency in French is required for this position.

As a skilled tradesperson, you will be responsible for measuring, cutting, shaping, assembling, and joining materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel, and other materials. You will also be involved in building foundations, installing floor beams, laying subflooring, erecting walls and roof systems, fitting and installing windows, doors, stairs, mouldings, and hardware, moving heavy furniture, equipment, and supplies, making adjustments and minor repairs to heating, cooling, ventilation, plumbing, and electrical systems, and contacting tradespersons for major repairs.

• Education: A Registered Apprenticeship certificate is required for this position.
• Experience: At least 1 year of experience in a similar field is preferred.
• Certifications: The required certifications for this position include a valid driver's license and a criminal record check.

You will work in various locations, including urban areas and apartment/condominium complexes. The ideal candidate should have strong physical capabilities, including the ability to handle heavy loads and work with minimal supervision. Initiative, flexibility, and reliability are essential qualities for this position.

As an employee of Investivaco, you will receive a competitive salary range between $45,000 and $65,000 per year, depending on your level of experience and qualifications.
