Software Developer Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Software Developer to join our Development team at Payworks, a leading workforce management solutions provider. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing software solutions for new and existing clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, develop, and implement software solutions using modern procedural languages such as C#, Java, or C++.
  • Collaborate with the team to monitor, maintain, and support existing functionality by resolving defects and enhancing the user experience.
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies, code reviews, and provide feedback to other developers.
  • Update tickets with solution details, testing notes, and results independently.
Requirements:
  • Post-Secondary education in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Approximately 3-5 years of experience as a Software Developer or in a similar position.
  • Proven experience with coding solutions in a modern procedural language.
  • Knowledge and understanding of basic SQL queries, experience with Microsoft SQL Server and T-SQL Queries is an asset.
