Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Healthcare Specialist to join our team. As a specialist, you will play a key role in developing and implementing hospital policies that support effective organ and tissue donation programs.
Responsibilities
- Conduct clinical assessments and evaluations of potential donors
- Act as a liaison between hospitals and Trillium Gift of Life Network
- Develop and implement strategies to increase and improve performance outcomes in organ and tissue donation
- Maintain accurate records and reports data to Trillium Gift of Life Network
- Support the healthcare team by requesting resources and negotiating OR resources
- Perform other duties consistent with the role profile
Requirements
- Nursing Diploma and/or Bachelor of Science in Nursing
- Current registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario
- Minimum three (3) years critical care and/or relevant organ and tissue donation experience
- Valid G driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle
