Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Healthcare Specialist to join our team. As a specialist, you will play a key role in developing and implementing hospital policies that support effective organ and tissue donation programs.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct clinical assessments and evaluations of potential donors
  • Act as a liaison between hospitals and Trillium Gift of Life Network
  • Develop and implement strategies to increase and improve performance outcomes in organ and tissue donation
  • Maintain accurate records and reports data to Trillium Gift of Life Network
  • Support the healthcare team by requesting resources and negotiating OR resources
  • Perform other duties consistent with the role profile

Requirements

  • Nursing Diploma and/or Bachelor of Science in Nursing
  • Current registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario
  • Minimum three (3) years critical care and/or relevant organ and tissue donation experience
  • Valid G driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle
