Job Summary:

The Senior Companion provides companionship and support to clients in their residence, following an established plan of care.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide companionship and social interaction, including playing games, watching TV, and discussing interests.
  • Assist with meal preparation and light housekeeping tasks.
  • Accompany clients on outings and errands, and assist with shopping and driving.
  • Assist with medication management and other daily living tasks.
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Experience as a homemaker or companion is an asset.
  • Ability to read, write, and speak English fluently.
  • Valid driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle.
