Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Cyber Security Manager to join our team in Canada. As part of this role, you will be responsible for managing software and cyber security across various projects, ensuring the robustness of justifications and technical assurance.

About the Role:
  • You will act as the project's focal point for e-designs, maintaining oversight of activities and deliverables related to software and cyber security.
  • You will develop and execute IT Cyber Security Management Plans, ensuring compliance with ISO 22301 and ISO/IEC 27000 series.
  • You will work closely with contractors to identify and mitigate software/cyber risks, ensuring the design/implementation of operational railways is secure against potential threats.
Key Responsibilities:
  1. IT Cyber Security Management Plan Development: Develop and execute comprehensive IT Cyber Security Management Plans in accordance with industry standards and best practices.
  2. Cyber Security Risk Assessment and Mitigation: Identify and mitigate software/cyber risks associated with project deliverables, ensuring the integrity of operational systems.
  3. Safety Case Preparation: Prepare and maintain Safety Cases, including system hazard and system assurance documentation, to ensure the safe operation of critical infrastructure projects.
  4. Contractor Collaboration: Collaborate with contractors to develop and implement effective cyber security measures, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  5. Risk Management: Develop and maintain risk registers, identifying potential risks and implementing mitigation strategies to ensure the successful delivery of projects.
About You:
  • A degree or postgraduate qualification in science/engineering from an accredited university, with at least 10 years of experience in safety-critical electronics/software and cyber security.
  • Extensive knowledge of ISO 22301 and ISO/IEC 27000 series, with experience in developing and executing IT Cyber Security Management Plans.
  • Demonstrated expertise in software development and testing, with a strong understanding of safety-related software and systems.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
What We Offer:

We offer a competitive salary range of $120,000 - $180,000 CAD per annum, based on experience, plus additional benefits and opportunities for career growth.
