**Job Summary**

We are looking for a Registered Nurse with a passion for providing high-quality primary care to Residents. As a Health Services Practitioner, you will work collaboratively with our interdisciplinary team to deliver comprehensive care, promote resident well-being, and support their families.

**Responsibilities**

  • Collaborate with the Medical Director/Physician and Manager of Nursing and Personal Care to provide exceptional Resident care.
  • Participate in committees such as Infection Prevention and Control, Medical Advisory, and Continuous Quality Improvement to drive quality care initiatives.
  • Conduct thorough assessments, develop and implement individualized care plans, and provide education to Residents and their families.
  • Order and perform diagnostic investigations, interpret results, and take responsibility for follow-up.
  • Manage medications, provide pharmacological interventions, and perform procedures within your scope of practice.
  • Document clinical data, assessment findings, diagnoses, and treatment plans accurately and in a timely manner.

**Requirements**

To succeed in this role, you will require:

  • A University Degree in Nursing and a current Certificate of Competence with the Ontario College of Nurses (Extended Class).
  • One year of experience in a long-term care setting or a related field, demonstrating strong clinical and assessment skills.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and time management skills.
  • The ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a focus on resident-centered care.

**What We Offer**

Norfolk County offers a competitive salary range of $102,771 - $128,467 per annum, plus benefits and opportunities for professional growth and development.
