Key Responsibilities- Process payroll transactions and ensure compliance with Canadian and provincial legislation
- Analyze and resolve payroll-related issues and requests from employees and internal stakeholders
- Collaborate with the payroll team to improve processes and implement best practices
- Provide support to the call center and respond to employee inquiries
- Reconcile and analyze overpayments, and make payment arrangements as needed
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance payroll processes and efficiency
- Thorough knowledge of payroll legislation and tax rules applicable in Canada
- National Payroll Institute PCP certification (an asset)
- Minimum 2 years of payroll experience
- Strong client service and interpersonal skills
- Ability to adapt to changing environments and prioritize tasks effectively
- Excellent problem-solving and judgment skills
- High level of attention to detail and accuracy
- Bilingualism in French and English (required)
