About the Role

The Senior Cybersecurity Analyst is a critical member of the Tarion team, responsible for protecting the company's hardware, software, users, network, and overall organization from cyber threats.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Threat Identification and Mitigation: Continuously monitor and evaluate potential threats to the company's IT infrastructure, identifying vulnerabilities and implementing solutions to mitigate risks.
  • Security Policy Development and Implementation: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement information security policies, standards, and procedures, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and industry best practices.
  • Incident Response and Management: Develop and maintain the organization's Information Security Incident Response capability, procedures, and processes, ensuring timely and effective response to security incidents.
  • Vendor Management and Risk Assessment: Perform security risk assessments of third-party vendors, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Research and Development: Stay up-to-date with the latest security threat landscape and current information technology trends, leading initiatives to evaluate and implement new security technologies and methodologies within the organization.
Requirements:
  • Education: Minimum Community College Diploma in Cybersecurity, Cybersecurity and Business Continuity Incident Response or equivalent.
  • Experience: Minimum 6-10 years of experience working in an IT security function, specifically related to industry best practice compliance frameworks.
  • Skills: Strong analytical skills, experience with ITIL, NIST or comparable best practices for Information Technology Service Management, and relevant accreditations/certifications and experience with ERM/GRC platforms.
