Job Overview

The Retail Merchandiser role is a part-time position that plays a vital part in the field merchandising team at Hallmark Canada.

This position reports to the Territory Manager and requires a strong understanding of inventory management and merchandising activities within assigned retail accounts or multiple accounts.

Key responsibilities include maintaining scheduled service visits, adhering to set budgets, and reacting to any issues that may arise on job sites.

The successful candidate will possess excellent communication skills, including ongoing communication with the Territory Manager to ensure current knowledge of upcoming programs and in-store activities.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Maintain the appearance of Hallmark departments within retail stores, including ordering and receiving product according to a master schedule and merchandising plan.
  • Support merchandising services with daily inventory management and merchandising tasks for everyday products and seasonal items.
  • Liaise with account management as a representative of Hallmark Canada to build and maintain working relationships with account level managers.
  • Communicate effectively with the Territory Manager to ensure all accounts are serviced and meet or exceed retail standards.

Requirements and Qualifications

  • High School Diploma.
  • Previous experience in a retail environment would be beneficial.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly.
  • Proficiency in Smartphone technology and ability to manage email correspondence.

Location: Victoria, BC, Canada
Estimated Salary Range: $25-$30 per hour
