We welcome applications from CCFP-EM or FRCPC Emergency certified physicians who are looking for a challenging and rewarding opportunity.
The hospital is a 24-hour Emergency Department with inpatient beds, serving a population of approximately 66,000 people and seeing over 31,000+ visits annually.
We are a referral center for some surgical specialties and have a broad range of consultants, including Internal Medicine, Intensive Care, General Surgery, and more.
The successful candidate will be expected to work in our Rapid Access and Discharge Unit (RADU), which is run by our Emergency Department Physicians.
We are an academic teaching hospital with an affiliation with the University of British Columbia (UBC) postgraduate programs.
Benefits include eligibility for additional remuneration in accordance with the Rural Subsidy agreement (RSA), including a Fee Premium of 6.93%.
