Diesel Mechanic Job Description

A ONE TRUCK & TRAILER REPAIR is seeking a skilled Diesel Mechanic to join our team. As a Diesel Mechanic, you will be responsible for troubleshooting and repairing diesel engines, as well as performing routine maintenance tasks.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Troubleshoot and repair diesel engines, including diagnosing faults and malfunctions
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as oil changes and filter replacements
  • Inspect and test equipment to ensure proper function
  • Order parts and maintain inventory
  • Adjust and repair equipment as needed
  • Keep accurate records of maintenance and repairs
Requirements:
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience as a Diesel Mechanic
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
  • Physical stamina to perform manual labor
