Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Long Haul Truck Driver to join our team at Seehra Son's Trucking Ltd. As a Long Haul Truck Driver, you will be responsible for transporting goods and materials across the country, ensuring timely delivery and maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities
  • Transportation: Operate a tractor-trailer to transport goods and materials across the country, adhering to all relevant laws and regulations.
  • Route Planning: Plan and adjust routes based on changing conditions, using computer equipment and GPS to minimize fuel consumption and carbon emissions.
  • Customer Service: Address customer complaints and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Vehicle Maintenance: Oversee the condition of the vehicle, inspecting tires, lights, brakes, cold storage, and other equipment to ensure safe and efficient operation.
  • Logistics: Record cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption, as well as perform pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip inspections.
  • Safety: Ensure the safety and security of cargo, adhering to all relevant regulations and guidelines.
  • Communication: Receive and relay information to central dispatch, using communication systems such as CB radio and GPS.
Requirements
  • Certifications: Possess a valid AZ class license and a Driver's License (Class 1 or A).
  • Experience: Have previous experience in the field of employment, with a minimum of 1 to less than 7 months of experience.
  • Physical Demands: Be able to handle heavy loads, work in a physically demanding environment, and sit for extended periods.
  • Personal Qualities: Possess excellent oral and written communication skills, be organized, reliable, and a team player.
