About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Flooring Installation Specialist to join our team at SRK Flooring Ltd. As a key member of our installation team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality flooring installations that meet our customers' expectations.

Responsibilities
  • Inspect and measure surfaces to determine the best course of action for installation
  • Read blueprints and specifications to understand work requirements and ensure accuracy
  • Measure, cut, and fasten underlay and underpadding to create a solid foundation
  • Install carpeting on floors, ensuring a smooth and even surface
  • Prepare and install hardwood floors, paying attention to detail and quality
  • Remove existing floor coverings and contaminants to ensure a clean slate
  • Install carpeting on walls or other surfaces, meeting customer needs
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in flooring installation
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong communication skills and attention to detail
