Job Title: Specialty Pharmacy Nurse

At Rx Connect Specialty Pharmacy, we are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Specialty Pharmacy Nurse to join our team. As a key member of our infusion clinic, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and support to individuals requiring biologics and specialty medications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Administer and train medications (IV, IM, and SC) in patient homes or specialty clinics
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, physicians, and other healthcare professionals
  • Participate in regular telephone consultations and web-based meetings with the President or reporting Manager to share information and uphold professional practice standards
  • Consult with physicians and pharmaceutical clients regarding education and implementation of product-specific programs
  • Adhere to professional nursing standards as prescribed by the professional associations and the company

Requirements:

  • Qualified registered practical nurse (valid provincial license from the College of Nurses)
  • Healthcare provider CPR certificate required
  • Experience in critical care, emergency, acute care inpatient/outpatient, or homecare settings considered an asset
  • Proficient in MS Excel, Outlook, and MS Word
  • Able to work autonomously with little supervision as part of a larger remote team
  • Able to travel to clinics and homecare appointments within a set geographical boundary
