Amax Furniture is seeking a skilled Logistics Coordinator to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for coordinating activities with other work units or departments, preparing and submitting reports, and resolving work problems. You will also provide customer service, train workers in duties and policies, and coordinate, assign and review work. Additionally, you will dispatch personnel according to schedules and work orders, keep track of shipments, and establish work schedules and procedures. The ideal candidate will have excellent oral communication skills, be organized, and be a team player. This is a permanent position with 40 hours per week.

Key Responsibilities
  • Co-ordinate activities with other work units or departments
  • Prepare and submit reports
  • Resolve work problems, provide technical advice and recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality
  • Provide customer service
  • Train workers in duties and policies
  • Co-ordinate, assign and review work
  • Dispatch personnel according to schedules and work orders
  • Keep track of shipments
  • Establish work schedules and procedures
