As a Clinic Nurse with our organization, you will have the opportunity to develop your skills and expertise in a dynamic and patient-centered environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer specialized IV and injection therapies with precision and care;
- Collaborate with physicians to receive and review orders;
- Conduct thorough patient assessments to inform care decisions;
- Initiate IV lines and perform phlebotomy with confidence;
- Teach patients about injections and self-injection techniques;
- Provide general health and medication education to patients;
- Monitor patient conditions and document observations according to our standards;
- Lead and support Licensed/Registered Practical Nurses as needed;
- Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current in your field.
Requirements:
- At least 3 years of recent acute care experience, preferably in a hospital setting;
- Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing and current registration in good standing;
- Training and experience in medication administration via all routes;
- Excellent intravenous skills and experience with CVADs;
- Current BCLS certification and ability to read technical instructions;
- Experience in biologics/infusions is an asset.
