Overview:
Micahel Garron Hospital is a leading healthcare institution dedicated to providing exceptional patient care. As a Plant Operations Specialist, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our high-pressure steam plant, compressed air equipment, chillers system, HVAC systems, and all related machinery in the mechanical rooms.

Key Responsibilities:
- Work 8 or 12 hour shifts in the maintenance of plant and building equipment or plant operation during days, evenings, nights, weekends, or statutory holidays depending on requirements

Requirements:
- 3rd Class Operating Engineer's TSSA License
- Diploma in Power Plant Engineering
- College or University graduate
- 1 year minimum experience in a similar role, preferably in a hospital setting
- Experience with steam boilers, water treatment, HVAC system, centrifugal chillers, cooling towers, air compressors, and building automation systems (BAS)
- Operational use of computerized Building Automation Systems and Preventative Maintenance Systems
- Ability to read, interpret, and utilize schematics and line diagrams
- Excellent interpersonal, customer service, time management, and organizational skills
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel
- Ability to work well independently and as part of a team
- Attention to detail and effective problem-solving skills
- Good work and attendance record required
