First Student Canada-Transco is seeking a skilled Licensed Mechanic to join our team in Mississauga, ON. As a Diesel Mechanic, you will play a vital role in maintaining and repairing our fleet of school buses to ensure vehicle readiness and safety.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform preventive maintenance, safety inspections, and annual DOT maintenance inspections.
  • Diagnose and repair vehicle and equipment issues, including brakes, suspensions, drivetrains, and transmissions.
  • Ensure accurate completion of work orders.
  • Assist with mobile emergency services.
Requirements:
  • Valid driver's license required; willingness to obtain license while employed.
  • At least 1 year of automotive or diesel maintenance and repair experience or technical school education.
  • Possess a mechanic's tool set.
  • Willingness to participate in ASE certification program.
