About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Butcher - Wholesale Specialist to join our team at AL-SHAMAS FOOD PRODUCTS LTD. as a key member of our meat processing and packing department.

Key Responsibilities
  • Clean and prepare meats for processing or cutting, ensuring high-quality standards are met.
  • Cut and trim carcasses, sides, and quarters to produce standard cuts of meat.
  • Wrap and package prepared meats for distribution to our wholesale customers.
  • Remove bones from meat and weigh meats for sale, ensuring accurate measurements.
  • Cut poultry into parts and price meat products for sale.
  • Supervise and train other butchers, meat cutters, and fishmongers to maintain high-quality standards.
  • Grind meats and shape, lace, and tie roasts, other meats, poultry, and seafood for sale.
  • Prepare special orders for our wholesale customers, ensuring timely and accurate delivery.
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a meat processing and packing environment.
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Combination of sitting, standing, and walking throughout the workday.
  • Standing for extended periods and handling heavy loads.
  • Attention to detail and hand-eye coordination.
  • Accurate, dependable, organized, and reliable with excellent team player skills.
