Job Summary

Royal Bank of Canada is seeking a skilled Financial Planning Consultant to join our Wealth Management team. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in providing expert financial planning and coaching to our advisors, helping them deliver exceptional client experiences.

This is an excellent opportunity for a highly motivated and experienced financial planning professional to leverage their skills and expertise to drive business growth and client satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct support to advisors in designated markets through one-on-one coaching and market presentations.
  • Engage with clients to deliver tailored financial planning solutions, driving business growth and customer satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with branch leadership to drive financial planning initiatives and business objectives.
  • Develop strong internal networks with software owners, training, and practice management to enhance overall effectiveness.
  • Provide coaching and feedback to branch managers after on-site visits.

Requirements:

  • University degree supported by a professional designation (CFP/IQPF).
  • 5+ years of experience in financial planning, training, and development.
  • Technical proficiency in myGPS or other financial planning software solutions.
  • Knowledge of Canadian taxation and pension legislation.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Able to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
  • Bilingual (French/English) for Quebec posting.
