We are seeking a highly experienced professional in environmental sustainability to teach an applied capstone course at the University of Ottawa.

Job Overview

The successful candidate will have a graduate degree with significant work experience in a senior managerial role in the private or public sector, focusing on environmental sustainability. They will also possess practical experience with project management, communication strategies and tactics, public engagement and consultation, and social media marketing.

Key Responsibilities
  • Teach an applied capstone course to students from diverse backgrounds, focusing on environmental sustainability.
  • Develop and implement effective project management strategies to achieve course objectives.
  • Foster strong relationships with students, faculty, and external partners to enhance the learning experience.
Requirements

To be considered for this position, candidates must meet the following requirements:

  • Hold a graduate degree with significant work experience in environmental sustainability.
  • Have practical experience with project management, communication strategies, public engagement, and social media marketing.
  • Be able to communicate effectively with students from various background knowledge bases.
  • Have previous experience teaching an applied capstone course is an asset.
Compensation and Benefits
