Job DescriptionThis senior position involves overseeing daily kitchen operations, including menu planning, inventory management, and staff supervision.
A key aspect of this role is the ability to maintain accurate records of food costs, sales, and inventory levels, ensuring efficient kitchen operations and profitability.
The successful candidate will also be responsible for supervising specialist chefs, cooks, and other kitchen staff, providing guidance on preparation, cooking, and presentation techniques.
Additionally, they will create new recipes, instruct cooks on food preparation and presentation, and prepare complete meals for events such as banquets.
This leadership role requires excellent communication skills, the ability to motivate and train staff, and a passion for delivering high-quality cuisine.
