The Role: We are seeking a compassionate and patient-focused Respiratory Therapist to join our team as a Registered Respiratory Therapist. As a member of our team, you will work in both clinic settings and respiratory home care, providing diagnostic pulmonary function testing and sleep studies, conducting home visits for respiratory care assessments and service delivery, and communicating clearly with patients to address their concerns and ensure understanding.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform diagnostic pulmonary function testing and sleep studies, providing accurate information to assist physicians in patient care.
- Conduct home visits for respiratory care assessments and service delivery.
- Communicate clearly with patients to address their concerns and ensure understanding.
- Set up equipment and apply techniques that prioritize patient comfort and safety.
- Use independent judgment during assessments and interventions to capture and communicate critical data.
- Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to deliver optimal patient care.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment and protect patient confidentiality.
Requirements:
- Current registration with CARTA and CSRT in good standing.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record and a criminal record check.
- Current CPR certification.
- Excellent multitasking and communication skills.
- Flexibility to adapt to a dynamic work environment.
