Job Title: Backend Ruby Developer H/F

Playground Poker is an internationally renowned gaming destination located in the heart of Montreal, within the Mohawk territory of Kahnawake.

We are currently expanding, unveiling new gaming floors, a luxurious hotel, and specialized dining options.

Job Description:

As a Backend Developer with expertise in Ruby and NodeJS, you'll play a pivotal role in developing and enhancing the backend of various websites, mobile app services, and microservices.

  • Strong experience with Ruby.
  • Proficiency in JavaScript (ES6).
  • Advanced SQL skills (MySQL, MSSQL).
  • Familiarity with TDD, BDD, and Integration Testing in a RoR environment.
  • Deployment skills for Ubuntu servers (nginx, puma) or Swarm nodes with Docker.
  • Proficiency in JavaScript and TypeScript, including JS and TS frameworks.
  • Data Engineering skills, including pipeline creation and maintenance (MS SQL servers to spreadsheets, CSVs, webhooks).
  • Experience integrating machine learning models and data science skills, particularly in Python.

  • 3+ years of experience in Ruby on Rails & NodeJS development.
