Job Description
We are looking for an experienced Policy Operations Specialist to join our team at Samco Machinery. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operational activities of our plant, including managing employees, production, and financial costs. You will work closely with various teams to ensure that our production schedule and budget are met.

Main Responsibilities
* Oversee the daily operational activities of the plant, including employees, production, and financial costs.
* Develop and implement strategies to reduce costs and improve efficiency throughout the production process.
* Work closely with the purchasing and manufacturing teams to ensure that all materials and components are sourced and produced on time and within budget.
* Conduct regular performance reviews and competency evaluations to identify training needs for the department.

Skills and Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in operations management or a related field
* ~10-15 years of experience in industrial management required
* ~ CIM Certificate (Professional Manager) or equivalent experience in a management role
* ~ Ability to read and interpret mechanical engineering drawings
* ~ Understanding of a Closed Loop MRP 11 System and the functions of Capacity Requirements Planning and Shop Floor Control
* ~ Advanced computer skills to use MRP software
