About the Role

Cobrafer Construction Ltd. is seeking a skilled Carpenter - Concrete Forms Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for preparing layouts, measuring, cutting, shaping, assembling, and joining materials for concrete forms.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare layouts in conformance to building codes, using measuring tools.
  • Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel, and other materials.
  • Prepare tenders and quotations for construction projects.
  • Build foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring, and erect walls and roof systems.
  • Fitting and installing windows, doors, stairs, mouldings, and hardware.
  • Schedule and coordinate work on sites.
  • Survey building locations and levels.
  • Instruct apprentices in the trade.
  • Estimate costs and materials for construction projects.
  • Operate CADD and other computer software systems for design and planning.
  • Maintain, repair, and renovate residences and wooden structures in various settings.
Work Environment

This role requires working at heights, in confined spaces, and in noisy and dusty environments. You will be required to handle heavy loads and work under tight deadlines.

Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in the trade.
