Cafe Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Kitchen Manager to join our team at Cafe Landwer. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our kitchen, maintaining high standards of food quality and safety, and leading a team of food service staff.
Key Responsibilities:- Establish efficient kitchen methods to meet work schedules and maintain a clean and organized workspace.
- Train and develop kitchen staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures to ensure a high level of service and food quality.
- Estimate and manage ingredients and supplies required for meal preparation, minimizing waste and optimizing inventory.
- Hire and manage food service staff, providing guidance and support to ensure a positive and productive work environment.
- Maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage to inform kitchen operations and improve efficiency.
- Develop and implement work schedules to ensure adequate staffing and minimize labor costs.
- 2 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a fast-paced food service environment.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and train staff.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects.
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation procedures, with the ability to maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment.
