About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Cleaning Operations Manager to join our team at 2793588 Ontario Inc. As a key member of our facilities management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our cleaning services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Hire and Train Staff: Recruit, train, and develop a team of cleaning staff to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties efficiently.
  • Supervise and Coordinate Activities: Oversee the daily activities of the cleaning staff, ensuring that tasks are completed to a high standard and that the team is working effectively.
  • Inspect Sites and Facilities: Conduct regular site inspections to ensure that our facilities are clean, safe, and meet our high standards.
  • Prepare Budgets and Cost Estimates: Develop and manage budgets and cost estimates for cleaning services, ensuring that we are operating within our means.
  • Recommend Additional Services: Identify opportunities to improve our cleaning services and recommend additional services such as painting, repair work, or replacement of furnishings and equipment.
  • Maintain Financial Records: Ensure that all financial records are accurate and up-to-date, including payment receipts and invoices.
  • Coordinate Work Activities: Collaborate with other departments to ensure that our cleaning services are integrated with other operational activities.
  • Establish Work Schedules: Develop and manage work schedules for the cleaning staff, ensuring that they are working efficiently and effectively.
Requirements
  • Leadership and Management: Proven experience in leading and managing a team of cleaning staff.
  • Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with staff, management, and clients.
  • Organizational and Time Management: Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Attention to Detail: High attention to detail, with the ability to identify and resolve issues quickly and efficiently.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a combination of sitting, standing, and walking.
