About the Role

Astellas is seeking a highly skilled Scrum Lead Corporate Technology to join our team. As a key member of our digital organization, you will play a crucial role in driving our digital initiatives forward.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Lead Scrum Ceremonies: Facilitate daily stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and retrospectives for multiple value teams.
  2. Backlog Grooming: Collaborate with team members to keep the backlog current, enhancing future sprint planning.
  3. Coach and Mentor: Provide support and training to help teams adopt Agile Scrum methodologies, guiding them towards higher scrum maturity and self-organization.
  4. Monitor Value Team Progress: Track and communicate team velocity and sprint/release progress to all affected parties, ensuring accurate documentation in Agile tracking systems.
  5. Promote Continuous Improvement: Encourage and lead efforts to improve processes and practices based on retrospective outcomes, supporting the Capability Lead in creating a vision across products.
  6. Remove Obstacles: Identify and remove any obstacles or blockers affecting team performance.
  7. Conflict Resolution: Help resolve interpersonal conflicts and issues within the team to ensure a productive working environment.
  8. Stakeholder Communication: Act as a liaison between the Value team and stakeholders, ensuring clear communication and understanding of progress and needs.
  9. Guard and Enforce Scrum Principles: Safeguard and reinforce Scrum principles, practices, and processes, understanding their importance within the organization.
  10. Reporting: Regularly report on the progress of the various Value Teams and outcomes to the Capability Lead and team members.
  11. Continuous Learning: Engage in continuous learning and professional development to stay abreast of the latest trends and practices in digital expertise.
  12. Quality Assurance: Ensure the highest quality and consistency in the work delivered.
