Key Responsibilities- Operate a forklift and handle shipping and receiving activities with precision and care.
- Unload trucks/containers using hand tools, hand trucks, pallet jacks, and forklifts, ensuring timely and efficient processing.
- Prepare equipment for outgoing orders with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail, meeting customer expectations.
- Assist with inventory management and update records to ensure up-to-date information is maintained.
In this role, you will work closely with customers and drivers to guarantee proper documents are handed off and received. Regular inventory audits will be conducted, requiring strong attention to detail and effective communication skills. This position involves picking orders and loading them into trucks, weighing up to 50lbs.
Requirements and Qualifications- 1-3 years of experience working within shipping and receiving, including inventory management.
- Forklift certification and OSHA certification are preferred but not required.
- A manufacturing background or experience with shipping to Canada/USA are assets, but not necessary.
This is a contract-based position that requires on-site work, 5 days a week, Monday to Friday. The successful candidate should expect to earn approximately $45,000 - $55,000 per year, depending on experience and performance.
