About the Role:

Ainsworth, a leading provider of innovative healthcare solutions, is seeking a highly skilled Nurse Call Systems Technician to join our team. As a key member of our technical team, you will be responsible for installing, commissioning, and servicing multiple healthcare technologies, including RTLS and nurse call systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Service, install, troubleshoot, repair, maintain, and inspect RTLS and nurse call systems.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot issues with network electronic systems and software.
  • Commission front-end workstations and servers.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot issues with network electronic systems and software.
  • Ability to troubleshoot existing installations or utilize as-built drawings and documentation where available to correct deficiencies and repair systems without supervision.
  • Provide onsite validation and testing of RTLS and nurse call systems.
  • Ensure customer requests and status are followed up on time and in a professional manner.
  • Perform all assigned preventative maintenance, repair, and emergency service calls.
  • Develop and maintain a cooperative working relationship with the company's team of managers, engineers, and technicians; the client; and consulting engineers.
  • Effectively communicate and maintain project status with Management, Contractors, and Customers.

Requirements:

  • Diploma or degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or equivalent job-related knowledge.
  • Minimum 2-5 years of related experience in RTLS and nurse call systems.
  • Computer literacy, networking ability, and good knowledge of operating systems.
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently.
  • System integration and technical troubleshooting skills.
  • Experience in system integration, network topology, and Virtual Environment.
  • Experience with Information Communication Technology design in the healthcare environment.
  • Experience in delivering RTLS and nurse call solutions.
  • Technical writing skills to support documentation of problem resolution/solution improvement.
  • Knowledge of technology deployed in the healthcare environment.
  • Experience in the healthcare industry is preferred.
