We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Warehouse Sorter to join our team at Purolator. As a key member of our operations team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the efficient sorting and separation of freight to meet client delivery schedules.
Key Responsibilities- Unload freight from curbside trucks onto the conveyor and from conveyor into curbside trucks
- Unload freight off conveyor or chute for load-out
- Loads freight into linehaul / cube truck or trailer
- Preload mail and packages into curbside delivery vehicles
- Manually transfer bulk or non-conveyable items
- Scan all shipped or received mail or packages to identify improperly sorted packaged mail or packages and mail marked for priority or weekend delivery
- Quick learner and ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment
- Reliable and punctual
- Technological literacy
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to lift and/or carry up to 70 lbs.
- Flexible working hours
- CSA approved safety footwear
- Successfully complete a criminal record check to qualify
As a Warehouse Sorter at Purolator, you will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, with a competitive hourly rate of $18.17. We offer a part-time schedule with 25 weekly hours, Monday-Friday 00:00-05:00.
