Job Summary:

The Electrical Maintenance Supervisor will oversee the maintenance and repair of electrical systems, equipment, and instruments in a fast-paced industrial environment. This role requires strong leadership and technical skills to manage a team of electrical technicians and ensure the safe and efficient operation of electrical systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and coordinate the work of electrical technicians to ensure timely completion of maintenance and repair tasks.
  • Develop and implement maintenance schedules and procedures to minimize downtime and optimize system performance.
  • Conduct regular inspections and testing of electrical systems and equipment to identify potential issues and implement corrective actions.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless integration of electrical systems with other plant operations.
  • Provide training and guidance to electrical technicians to enhance their skills and knowledge.
  • Manage and maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders, inventory, and equipment performance.

Requirements:

  • Canadian Red Seal journeyman electrician certification.
  • Master electrician certification preferred.
  • Experience with Rockwell Software, including Control Logix, Factory Talk View, and Connected Components Workstation.
  • Experience with MMS systems, such as Maximo or SAP.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
