Fiscal Specialist

Fed Finance is seeking a highly skilled Fiscal Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our accounting department, you will be responsible for planning, organizing, and executing reorganization and tax planning mandates.

Your Key Responsibilities:

• Develop tax optimization strategies and draft tax opinions;
• Supervise and coordinate the execution of mandates and ensure their efficient completion;
• Act as intermediary between government authorities and clients;
• Participate in the review of income tax and information returns for individuals, corporations, partnerships, and trusts;
• Present clients with the results of work performed;
• Mentor tax interns;
• Work in partnership with the assurance team.

Your Profile:

• Hold a Master's degree in taxation (CPA or Bar);
• Three (3) to five (5) years' experience in taxation (experience in an accounting or law firm would be an asset);
• Excellent organizational, analytical, and critical skills;
• Knowledge of MS Office, Taxprep, and tax research software (Taxnet Pro and IntelliConnect);
• Excellent knowledge of French and the Office suite;
• Enjoy teamwork and managing several files simultaneously.
